Technical Consultant - C#/.Net Framework

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Architecture :

- Design and implement scalable system architectures aligned with business requirements in BY Category Management.

- Estimate implementation efforts, timelines, and assess integration complexity across systems.

- Ensure solutions adhere to best practices, performance, and security standards.

Code Upgrade & Enhancement :

- Lead and execute code upgrades from older CATMAN versions to the latest BY Category Management versions.

- Analyze existing customizations and refactor or re-engineer code to align with upgraded platforms.

- Ensure backward compatibility, stability, and performance during upgrades.

Development & Customization :

- Develop, customize, and enhance CATMAN solutions using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework.

- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and ETL processes.

- Integrate CATMAN with external systems using REST APIs, OAuth, and shell scripts.

Problem Resolution & Technical Support :

- Independently analyze and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision.

- Provide L3-level technical support to project teams during implementation and post-go-live phases.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.

Technical Analysis & Stakeholder Communication :

- Conduct technical analysis workshops with customers and internal teams to understand requirements and existing code.

- Clearly communicate technical solutions, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Support design reviews, system testing, and production readiness activities.

Quality, Testing & Documentation :

- Support software installation, configuration, system testing, and validation activities.

- Ensure code quality through reviews, documentation, and adherence to coding standards.

- Maintain technical documentation for enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.

Qualifications & Experience :

- 3- 8 years of hands-on development experience in BY Category Management (CATMAN).

- Strong development experience using .NET (ASP.NET, C#).

- Strong SQL and database development skills (MS SQL; Oracle is a plus).

- Experience supporting end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

- Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical problems
