About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect Python Full Stack to provide end-to-end technical and architectural leadership for enterprise-grade applications. This role is intended for a senior technology professional who can define application architecture, system design, integration patterns, scalability, security, and technical standards, while providing architectural guidance to engineering teams. The candidate will work closely with client Product Owners, enterprise architects, engineering leaders, and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & System Design :

- Define end-to-end application architecture for scalable enterprise solutions.

- Drive architectural decisions across backend, frontend, databases, APIs, integrations, and cloud components.

- Design scalable systems using Python, Django, Django REST Framework, React.js, and SQL databases.

- Define appropriate microservices, API, integration, and application design patterns.

- Evaluate existing architecture and recommend modernization and performance improvements.

- Establish technical standards, architecture principles, and development best practices.

Backend & API Architecture :

- Provide architectural direction for Python 3.x, Django, and Django REST Framework applications.

- Define scalable REST API architectures for integration with:

1. HRIS systems

2. Benefits providers

3. Banking gateways

4. Third-party enterprise applications

- Design secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth2 and JWT.

- Ensure appropriate encryption and security standards are incorporated into solution architecture.

Data & Database Architecture :

- Define data architecture using PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Review complex data models and database designs.

- Guide teams on query optimization and database performance.

- Provide architectural guidance for large-scale reporting and data processing workloads.

- Evaluate data integration and transformation requirements.

Frontend Architecture :

- Define frontend architecture and development standards using React.js.

- Guide teams on reusable components, application structure, performance, and maintainability.

- Evaluate frontend technology choices based on business and technical requirements.

Technical Leadership :

- Act as the technical bridge between client Product Owners, Architects, engineering teams, and other stakeholders.

- Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews.

- Mentor Technical Leads and senior engineers.

- Review technical designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

- Drive end-to-end technical delivery and resolve complex architectural challenges.

- Participate in client discussions and provide technical recommendations.

Performance, Security & Scalability :

- Define architecture for high-performance and highly scalable applications.

- Identify application and database performance bottlenecks.

- Establish security standards across applications, APIs, integrations, and data.

- Ensure solutions are designed for reliability, maintainability, and scalability.

GenAI & AI-Assisted Engineering :

- Evaluate and incorporate GenAI capabilities where relevant to application development and business solutions.

- Drive adoption of GitHub Copilot (GHCP) and AI-assisted development practices.

- Establish guidelines for responsible use of GenAI in software engineering.

- Explore opportunities to improve engineering productivity through AI-enabled development and documentation.

Mandatory Skills :

- 12 to 15 years of software engineering experience.

- Strong architecture and system design experience.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Python.

- Strong experience with Django / Django REST Framework.

- Strong experience designing RESTful APIs.

- Strong experience with React.js.

- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL or MySQL.
