Job Description
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) :
Must-Have :
- Android Automotive AOSP driven development, Java, Kotlin, Android Test-Driven Frameworks (Junit, Robolectric, espresso)
- Sprint and Product Increment Cycle based development experience
Good-to-Have :
- GitLab, CI/CD, JIRA, Agile
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :
1. Strong technical experience in Design and Development using Android Automotive Framework (AOSP)
2. Experience with AOSP Platform custom component development
3. Good experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Library, Clean App Architecture, MVVM, Andorid Architecture Components, Audio architecture, Android Automotive, AOSP, Graphics architecture, boot time optimization, Design Patterns
4. Should have good knowledge of Android Test-Driven development Knowledge (Junit, Robolectric, espresso)
5. Hands on Android application development experience with Java and Kotlin. Should have played a role in architecture & design of Infotainment features
6. Provide Technical ownership by designing and implementing architecture, strategies, guidelines, standards and best practices
7. Working closely with Customer to understand their business, functional, technical, and implementation requirements
8. Should be able to work as Architect, Application/ Function owner, to participate in Sprint and Product Increment cycle planning, and delivery management
9. Exposure to automotive Industry with know-how of vehicle electronics
10. Good Dev-Ops Knowledge (GitLab, CI/CD, JIRA, Confluence etc.)
11. Good knowledge of Infotainment domain
