Key Responsibilities :
- Architectural Governance : Serve as the primary technical design authority, defining the blueprint for end-to-end architecture across UI, backend, APIs, data structures, and cloud infrastructure.
- Technical Strategy & Roadmap : Evaluate emerging technologies and establish architectural patterns, best practices, and coding standards that align with business goals.
- Frontend Architecture : Design scalable micro-frontend architectures, high-performance UI components, and reusable UI widgets to deliver seamless, accessible user experiences.
- Backend & API Design : Architect resilient, secure, and event-driven microservices architectures and RESTful APIs capable of handling high-throughput healthcare data.
- Healthcare Compliance & Security : Ensure all architectural designs inherently meet strict healthcare data privacy and security requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, HL7, FHIR compliance where applicable).
- Cross-Functional Leadership : Partner closely with Product Management, Security, DevOps, and Data engineering teams to ensure cohesive technical execution and smooth deployment pipelines.
- Mentorship & Code Governance : Lead code and architectural reviews, mentor senior engineers, and troubleshoot complex, systemic technical bottlenecks.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
1. Core Architectural & Leadership Experience :
- Experience : 11+ years of professional software programming and systems architecture experience, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level applications.
- Domain Expertise : Experience architecting solutions within a healthcare environment, with a deep understanding of the performance, security, and data integrity requirements unique to the industry.
2. Technical Stack Requirements :
- Frontend Ecosystem : Expert-level proficiency in React.js (Version 16 or higher), JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Deep understanding of state management, UI widgets, component lifecycles, and front-end performance optimization.
- Backend Ecosystem : Mastery of Java/J2EE and the Spring Ecosystem (including Spring Core, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch for heavy data processing).
- Integration & APIs : Extensive experience designing and implementing secure, high-performance Microservices and REST APIs.
- Data & Cloud Platforms : Strong foundation in data modeling (SQL/NoSQL) and architecting cloud-native solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
3. Preferred Attributes :
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7) and electronic health record (EHR) integration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD automation, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices.
