About the Role :

We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, data models, and cloud-based data architectures that support AI-native platforms and intelligent systems. The role focuses on reliable data processing, pipeline performance, data quality, and building data infrastructure for AI and GenAI applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines.

- Build and optimize data models to support efficient data processing and consumption.

- Work with Python and SQL to develop and maintain data engineering solutions.

- Manage and optimize data workflows across databases and cloud platforms.

- Use Big Data processing and orchestration tools to support pipeline execution and management.

- Ensure data quality, pipeline observability, and system performance.

- Support data infrastructure requirements for GenAI applications, RAG pipelines, and embeddings.

- Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and product teams to support data-driven solutions.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.

- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.

- Strong expertise in ETL/ELT workflows and data pipeline development and maintenance.

- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Hands-on proficiency with Big Data processing and orchestration tools such as Apache Spark, Databricks, Airflow, or Prefect.

- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and Linux.

- Familiarity with data infrastructure supporting GenAI, RAG pipelines, and embeddings.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on data quality, pipeline observability, and performance.

- Ability to collaborate with AI engineering, data science, and product teams.
