We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer with strong CodeIgniter expertise to join our team.
This role is focused on Production Support, ensuring the stability, performance, and smooth functioning of our live applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, excellent debugging capabilities, and the confidence to interact directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L2/L3 production support for applications built using PHP & CodeIgniter.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, performance bottlenecks, database issues, and server-level problems.
- Monitor application logs, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes.
- Handle Linux server operations, including log analysis, file permissions, cron jobs, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate closely with internal development, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth releases and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with clients to understand issues, gather requirements, and provide timely updates and solutions.
- Ensure adherence to SLA timelines, quality standards, and documentation practices.
- Support ongoing enhancements, maintenance activities, and new module development where required.
Required Skills :
- Mandatory : Strong hands-on experience with CodeIgniter Framework and PHP.
- Proficiency in MySQL writing queries, joins, debugging slow queries, and database optimization.
- Solid working knowledge of Linux environments (Ubuntu/CentOS) logs, configurations, server troubleshooting, user management, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly.
- Good understanding of MVC architecture, REST APIs, and application lifecycle.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize issues based on impact and urgency.
- Excellent communication skills this role requires regular coordination with clients and internal teams.
Nice to Have (Optional) :
- Experience with API integration (REST/SOAP).
- Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
- Knowledge of performance tuning or basic DevOps concepts.
- Exposure to AWS, Apache, or Nginx environments.
