Job Description:

Teamcenter Infrastructure Administration Specialist

Experience: 8 - 12 Years

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teamcenter Installation and Deployment:

- Perform end-to-end installation, configuration, and deployment of Siemens Teamcenter PLM environments from scratch.

- Install and configure Teamcenter application components, services, and supporting infrastructure.

- Set up Teamcenter environments across development, testing, quality assurance, staging, and production.

- Manage Teamcenter deployment activities, environment readiness, configuration validation, and post-installation verification.

- Troubleshoot installation failures, configuration issues, service startup problems, and deployment-related errors.

2. Teamcenter Infrastructure Administration:

- Administer and maintain Siemens Teamcenter infrastructure to ensure system stability, availability, and optimal performance.

- Monitor system health, resource utilization, application availability, and infrastructure performance.

- Perform routine administration, configuration changes, service restarts, log analysis, and troubleshooting.

- Support capacity planning, infrastructure optimization, and system reliability improvements.

3. Linux and Windows Server Administration:

- Perform system administration and infrastructure troubleshooting across Linux and Windows server environments.

- Manage operating system configurations, services, processes, permissions, directories, environment variables, and system resources.

- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, application service failures, disk space constraints, memory utilization, and server-level problems.

4. Docker-Based Teamcenter Deployment:

- Install, configure, and maintain Teamcenter environments using Docker-based deployment configurations.

- Support containerized Teamcenter application components and their associated services.

- Configure container environments, application parameters, networking, storage, and service dependencies.

- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to improve deployment automation, repeatability, and environment reliability.

5. Teamcenter Upgrades, Patching, and Lifecycle Management:

- Plan and execute Teamcenter version upgrades, maintenance releases, hotfixes, and patch deployments.

- Support upgrades from existing Teamcenter environments to newer supported versions.

- Validate application functionality and system stability after upgrades and patch installations.

6. Teamcenter Quality / QMS Administration:

- Install, configure, and support Siemens Teamcenter Quality and Quality Management System (QMS) components.

- Support the deployment and administration of quality-related PLM applications and services.

7. Single Sign-On (SSO) and Identity Management:

- Install, configure, and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations for Teamcenter environments.

- Support authentication configuration, identity integration, access management, and user login troubleshooting.

8. Teamcenter Dispatcher Administration:

- Install, configure, and maintain Teamcenter Dispatcher services and related components.

- Configure and troubleshoot Dispatcher-related processing workflows and integrations.

9. Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics (TcRA):

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics (TcRA) components.

- Support configuration of reporting services, application connectivity, and required infrastructure dependencies.

10. Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

- Monitor Teamcenter environment health, service availability, application performance, and infrastructure resource utilization.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
