Job Description :

We are looking for a Data Engineer Team Lead with strong experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT, SQL and cloud-based data platforms. The role will involve working on data pipelines, transformation processes and data engineering solutions while guiding the team in delivering scalable and reliable data solutions.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

- Work with large datasets and develop efficient data transformation and processing solutions.

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data processing and analysis.

- Work with databases and data platforms such as Google BigQuery, Teradata and Microsoft SQL Server.

- Develop data engineering solutions using cloud technologies and modern data engineering practices.

- Work with version control and development tools such as GitHub and DevOps.

- Use scripting technologies such as PowerShell and Batch Scripting for automation and data processing.

- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot performance and data-quality issues.

- Collaborate with data analysts, architects and other engineering teams to deliver data solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Required Skills :

- 5 - 8 years of experience in Data Engineering.

- Strong experience with SQL and ETL/ELT methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with databases such as Google BigQuery, Teradata or Microsoft SQL Server.

- Experience with GitHub and DevOps.

- Knowledge of ETL tools and data pipeline development.

- Experience with PowerShell and Batch Scripting.

- Good understanding of data modelling and data processing.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and team-handling skills.
