Job Title : Embedded Software Team Lead

Location : Noida

Experience : 8-13 Years

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Team Lead with strong expertise in embedded systems development, Linux kernel, MCU programming, and Android BSP development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in embedded software architecture, low-level system programming, driver development, and system bring-up, preferably within the Automotive domain.

This role requires a strong technical leader who can drive embedded software development, mentor engineering teams, and contribute to system-level design, debugging, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead embedded software development initiatives and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.

- Drive Linux kernel, bootloader, and peripheral device bring-up activities for embedded platforms.

- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software solutions for MCU-based systems.

- Work on Android BSP development, including HAL, GAS, and GKI Kernel components.

- Develop and maintain low-level software, device drivers, and BSP components.

- Perform system-level debugging, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.

- Work on RTOS-based systems, including SafeRTOS and FreeRTOS, for real-time embedded applications.

- Ensure software quality, reliability, and adherence to development standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field with hands-on experience in Embedded Systems, preferably in the Automotive domain.

- Strong hands-on experience in Linux kernel development, bootloader, and peripheral device bring-up.

- Experience in MCU programming with working knowledge of SafeRTOS/FreeRTOS.

- Strong expertise in Android BSP development, including HAL, GAS, and GKI Kernel.

- Proficiency in C programming and embedded software development.

- Strong experience in system-level debugging and troubleshooting.

Preferred / Added Advantage Skills :

- Good understanding of SoC architecture, ARM architecture, SoC peripherals, low-level BSP software, and RTOS.

- Hands-on experience in Linux device driver development.

- Experience in PCIe, Audio Subsystem, and Display Subsystem bring-up.

- Hands-on experience in Real-Time Driver (RTD) development.

- Working knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, and LIN.

- Experience with Yocto, BitBake, and OpenEmbedded.

- Familiarity with ASPICE standards is preferred.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
