Role Overview :

We are looking for a Data Platform / Data Engineer to work on a Snowflakebased analytics platform, combining data engineering and backend engineering.

The role focuses on improving data workflows, performance, reliability, and day to day operations while supporting internal data teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, optimize, and operate Snowflake schemas and large analytical tables

- Build, maintain, and debug batch data pipelines (Airflow/dbt or similar)

- Develop and support Java-based services and tools interacting with Snowflake

- Use Terraform (IaC) to manage Snowflake objects and cloud resources

- Provide L2/L3 support for internal data and analytics teams

- Handle KTLO work: production issues, bug fixes, and operational improvements

- Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident follow-ups

- Create and maintain documentation and runbooks

Must Have Skills :

- Experience as Data Engineer / Data Platform Engineer / Backend Engineer

- Strong Snowflake & SQL (query optimization, large tables)

- Backend development experience using Java

- Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow, dbt, etc.)

- Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

- Strong troubleshooting skills across data, services, and infra

- Good English communication and ability to work independently

Nice to Have :

- Snowflake integration with cloud data lakes (Iceberg, Parquet, Delta)

- Experience in platform / SRE / internal tools teams

- Exposure to data governance, catalogs, and access control

- Experience working in large, distributed organizations
