Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Talend.
- Develop scalable and reliable data integration workflows using Talend Open Studio / Talend Data Integration.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into target systems.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot failures and performance issues.
- Optimize Talend jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work with databases, data warehouses, APIs, and various data sources.
- Implement data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, Analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain ETL job specifications.
Required Skills :
- 5 - 10 years of experience in ETL/Data Integration development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Talend.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines.
- Good understanding of data integration and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of data quality and validation processes.
- Good knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- Experience working on large-scale data integration projects.
- Knowledge of Talend administration and job deployment is an advantage.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and modern data technologies is preferred.
- Experience with scheduling and monitoring ETL workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
