Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Talend Data Engineer with 5 to 6 years of experience in Data Integration and ETL development to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data integration solutions that facilitate the seamless movement of data from operational and external systems into business intelligence and data warehouse environments. The candidate should have strong expertise in Talend along with a solid understanding of ETL methodologies, data quality, and data transformation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Talend to support enterprise data integration initiatives.

- Build scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple source systems into data warehouses and BI platforms.

- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop efficient data integration solutions.

- Integrate data from operational databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and external data sources.

- Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and enrichment to ensure high-quality data.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and BI teams to deliver robust data solutions.

- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance across all data integration processes.

- Participate in deployment, testing, and production support activities.

- Prepare technical documentation, ETL mapping specifications, and process documentation.

Required Skills :

- 56 years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL Development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration.

- Expertise in designing and implementing ETL workflows.

- Strong knowledge of data integration concepts, data transformation, and data migration.

- Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

- Strong SQL skills for querying, transformation, and performance optimization.

- Experience integrating data from APIs, flat files, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.

- Good understanding of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts.

- Experience with data quality, error handling, and ETL optimization techniques.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Informatica, IBM DataStage, or Ab Initio.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation.

- Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M or Autosys.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Talend certification is an added advantage.

- Experience in enterprise-scale data integration and migration projects.
