We are looking for an experienced SystemC / TLM Virtual Prototyping Engineer with strong expertise in SystemC, TLM 2.0, and C++ to develop and enhance virtual platforms for next-generation SoCs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in virtual prototyping, transaction-level modeling, and pre-silicon software enablement, enabling early software development and system validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain virtual platforms using SystemC and TLM 2.0 for pre-silicon software development and validation.
- Build, integrate, and optimize virtual prototypes for complex SoC architectures.
- Integrate Synopsys IP models (ARC, PCIe, USB, DDR, GPU, etc.) into Virtual Development Kits (VDKs).
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to enable early software bring-up and validation.
- Debug and resolve complex issues involving virtual models, firmware, drivers, and embedded software.
- Ensure accurate modeling of SoC components, including buses, interconnects, interrupts, memory maps, and clock/reset domains.
- Support embedded software bring-up, including bootloaders, drivers, and operating system kernels.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in virtual prototyping, SystemC/TLM 2.0 modeling, or pre-silicon software enablement.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SystemC, TLM 2.0, and C++.
- Experience with Synopsys Virtualizer, Platform Architect, or similar virtual prototyping tools.
- Experience integrating Synopsys IP models (ARC, PCIe, USB, DDR, GPU, etc.) into virtual platforms or VDKs.
- Strong understanding of SoC architecture, including buses, interconnects, interrupts, memory maps, and clock/reset domains.
- Familiarity with embedded software bring-up, including bootloaders, device drivers, and OS kernels.
- Proven experience debugging interactions between virtual models, firmware, and embedded software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on complex SoC platforms and pre-silicon validation environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional engineering teams.
