Brief About the Role :
- We are looking for an experienced System C / TLM Staff Engineer with strong expertise in Virtual Platform development, embedded systems, and SoC architecture. The candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance SystemC/TLM models, working on complex hardware-software interactions, and contributing to simulation and platform optimization for next-generation semiconductor solutions.
Required Skills :
- Strong expertise in SystemC and Transaction-Level Modeling (TLM 2.0).
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ with deep understanding of OOPS concepts.
- Hands-on experience in embedded software/firmware development.
- Good understanding of SoC architecture, CPU pipelines, GPUs, hardware accelerators, memory subsystems, and bus protocols such as AXI, PCIe, and USB.
- Experience in peripheral modeling including Timers, DMA Controllers, and I/O Controllers.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with architecture, firmware, and validation teams for platform integration.
- Design and implement peripheral models such as DMA Controllers, Timers, and I/O Controllers.
- Analyze and optimize simulation performance and platform efficiency.
- Work on SoC architecture components including CPU pipelines, GPUs, memory subsystems, and hardware accelerators.
- Support hardware/software co-simulation activities.
- Debug complex system-level issues involving hardware and embedded software interactions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.
Good-to-Have Skills :
- Prior experience in developing Virtual Platforms (VPs) for semiconductor companies.
- Familiarity with QEMU, Synopsys Virtualizer, or equivalent simulators.
- Exposure to hardware/software co-simulation methodologies.
- Understanding of Verilog/SystemVerilog for hardware design analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and performance optimization mindset.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members.
