Test Data Engineer (Centralized Support Role)

This role will be part of the Centralized Test Data Team and will work closely with multiple mobile scrum teams, QE engineers, engineering managers, product owners, and backend/middleware teams to ensure reliable and timely test data availability across environments.

Role Overview Test Data Engineer :

- Act as a central point of contact for test data support for mobile (API and client) testing

- Partner with QE, EMs, and POs to understand testing requirements and define test data strategies

- Coordinate with backend, middleware, and service teams to provision and manage test accounts based on testing conditions

- Perform connectivity testing with impacted applications

- Validate and map test accounts to required test data characteristics

- Conduct regular health checks to ensure test data remains stable and usable

- Troubleshoot data, environment, or service issues and raise incidents when required

- Support issue analysis by reviewing logs using tools such as Splunk, Android Studio, IntelliJ, etc.

- Maintain clear documentation for test data setups, issues, and root cause analysis

- Provide dedicated test data support for regression testing, including release and hotfix cycles

- This role is best suited for engineers with prior experience in test support or operational support roles, who are comfortable working across teams, handling dependencies, and owning end-to-end test data readiness rather than feature development.
