Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to manage, support, and enhance enterprise network security infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in firewalls, load balancers, proxies, DNS, micro-segmentation, CDN, and network security operations, with strong experience in change management, incident response, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, configure, and support enterprise network security infrastructure, including firewalls, load balancers, proxies, DNS, and micro-segmentation platforms.

- Execute decommissioning activities, including removal of IP addresses, external DNS entries, SSL certificates, and associated network services.

- Perform software upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management for network security devices and management platforms.

- Implement daily network security changes, firewall rule modifications, and planned disaster recovery (DR) activities.

- Troubleshoot high-priority production incidents and perform root cause analysis across network security components.

- Provide technical guidance to L2 operations teams during critical incidents and emergency changes.

- Prepare and maintain runbooks, SOPs, implementation plans, and change requests while ensuring compliance with change management processes.

- Support production go-live activities for new projects and infrastructure deployments.

- Participate in automation initiatives by validating new automation tools, executing regression testing, and providing operational feedback to engineering teams.

- Ensure network security infrastructure complies with organizational security policies and industry best practices.

Required Skills :

- 6 - 10 years of experience in Network Security Engineering or Network Infrastructure.

- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise Firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, or similar).

- Experience managing Load Balancers such as F5 BIG-IP, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), or AVI Networks.

- Experience with Proxy technologies, External DNS, SSL/TLS certificate management, and CDN solutions.

- Hands-on experience with Micro-segmentation technologies such as VMware NSX, Illumio, or Guardicore.

- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, NAT, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and network security protocols.

- Experience with change management, incident management, and production support.

- Knowledge of disaster recovery (DR), high availability, and business continuity practices.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
