About the Delivery Engineering Team :

At our core, the Delivery Engineering team sits at the high-velocity intersection of core product expansion, client go-lives, and production resilience. We don't believe in traditional silos where backend engineers, frontend developers, and post-production support live on isolated islands. Instead, we operate as an agile, high-leverage SWAT team. We own features end-to-endfrom drafting initial code across the stack to deploying in staging/UAT and solving production issues at their root.

What "AI as a First Principle" Means at the SDE 2 Level :

For an SDE 2, AI-first engineering goes beyond individual speedit is about architectural leverage and team amplification. You use AI assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, custom LLM workflows) not just to write features faster, but to audit system architectures, refactor complex legacy codebases, automate testing strategies, and review AI-generated pull requests across your pod.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architectural & Design Leadership : Design scalable, robust full-stack solutions and custom integrations built on top of core product architecture without introducing technical debt.

- Full-Stack Execution : Own complex client go-live features end-to-end across frontend and backend systems, driving code seamlessly from design to staging/UAT and production.

- System Guardrails & Quality : Establish low-level and high-level design standards for the delivery pod, ensuring systems are built for high availability, security, and low latency.

- Mentorship : Guide and mentor 12 junior software engineers within your delivery pod, elevating their technical craftsmanship, problem-solving, and AI-prompting techniques.

- Code Review & Auditing : Serve as the technical gatekeeper for code submitted by the pod. Critically review AI-generated outputs for edge-case vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and structural cleanliness.

- Deep-Dive Troubleshooting : Lead post-production incident triage and bug resolution. Use AI tools to quickly navigate complex codebases, trace root causes, and deploy permanent architectural fixes.

Technical Qualifications :

- Experience : 1-6 years of hands-on software development experience.

- System Design Expertise : Proficiency in High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD), microservices architecture, API design (REST/gRPC), relational/non-relational database design, and caching strategies.

- Full-Stack Versatility : Hands-on experience with Java & Spring Boot (backend) and React / TypeScript (frontend) is preferred.

- Advanced AI Tooling Mastery : Proven capability in leveraging modern AI assistants (Cursor IDE, Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT APIs) for complex code refactoring and system-level audits.

- DevOps & Infrastructure Awareness : Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP services, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry).

Leadership & Behavioral Traits :

- Mentorship Mindset : Passion for coaching junior engineers and conducting growth-oriented code reviews.
