Job Title : Storage & Backup Administrator - NetApp Storage Platform

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Storage & Backup Administrator with hands-on experience in NetApp Storage Platform to manage enterprise storage, SAN infrastructure, and backup environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in storage administration, SAN management, disaster recovery, and Veritas NetBackup in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and administer NetApp Storage and SAN infrastructure.

- Perform storage provisioning, LUN management, snapshots, replication, and DR activities.

- Monitor storage performance and optimize capacity utilization.

- Manage SAN zoning, fabric configuration, and firmware upgrades.

- Administer and troubleshoot Veritas NetBackup environments.

- Configure and monitor backups for VMware, Oracle, MySQL, and MS SQL.

- Resolve storage and backup incidents, coordinate with vendors, and maintain technical documentation.

Must Have Skills :

- Hands-on experience with NetApp Storage Platform (Mandatory)

- Experience with SAN Storage Administration

- Knowledge of IBM FS7200 and HPE 3PAR Storage (Preferred)

- Experience with SAN switches, zoning, and firmware upgrades

- Expertise in Storage Replication, Snapshots, and Disaster Recovery

- Hands-on experience with Veritas NetBackup

- Knowledge of VMware, Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server backups

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills

Good to have Skills :

- Experience working in enterprise Data Center and Disaster Recovery environments

- Exposure to heterogeneous storage infrastructure

- ITIL process knowledge is an added advantage

Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
