Key Responsibilities :

- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift, including database design, query optimization, workload management, and performance tuning in large-scale data warehouse environments.

- Minimum 2+ years of experience working with large-scale datasets, handling high-volume transactional and analytical data efficiently.

- Expert-level proficiency in developing, debugging, and optimizing Stored Procedures in Amazon Redshift.

- Strong expertise in writing high-performance SQL queries, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization techniques.

- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting slow-running SQL queries, ETL pipelines, and Redshift workloads.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and data transformation processes.

- Experience working with ETL/ELT processes and integrating data from multiple heterogeneous data sources.

- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient SQL-based solutions.

- Strong understanding of database best practices, indexing strategies, distribution keys, sort keys, partitioning, and data compression techniques in Redshift.

- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and ensuring data quality and integrity across systems.

- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, manage tight deadlines, and consistently deliver high-quality, production-ready code.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

- Knowledge of version control systems, deployment processes, and release management practices is preferred.

- Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems and AWS services related to Redshift is an added advantage.

- Must have strong domain knowledge in Healthcare/Medical Claims data, including claims processing, adjudication, eligibility, provider/member data, ICD/CPT codes, and healthcare reporting requirements.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
