VAST Storage Administrator

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced VAST Storage Administrator with strong hands-on experience in the VAST Data Platform, VAST storage administration, NAS/SAN storage, and VAST REST API.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and manage the VAST Data storage platform in an enterprise environment.

- Perform storage provisioning, configuration, monitoring, capacity management, and performance tuning.

- Manage NAS/SAN storage, including volumes, shares, permissions, and access controls.

- Monitor storage health, capacity, performance, and availability.

- Troubleshoot storage-related incidents and perform root cause analysis.

- Manage storage upgrades, maintenance, and configuration changes.

- Use VAST REST APIs for monitoring, administration, and automation.

- Work with infrastructure, network, virtualization, and application teams for storage integration and issue resolution.

- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Mandatory Skills :

- 6+ years of Storage Administration experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with VAST Data Platform / VAST Storage.

- Experience in VAST Storage Administration.

- Good knowledge of NAS/SAN storage concepts.

- Hands-on experience with VAST REST API.

- Strong troubleshooting and performance-monitoring skills.

- Experience with enterprise storage environments and capacity management.

- Scripting/automation knowledge is an added advantage.
