About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced and technically hands-on Staff Software Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for crafting scalable, high-performance systems and a strong track record of delivering enterprise-grade SaaS or FinTech platforms.

You will act as a senior technical leader and individual contributor, influencing system design, architecture, and implementation across a range of mission-critical projects. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of cloud-native development, event-driven architecture, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, architect, and implement highly scalable, secure, and resilient software systems for enterprise SaaS/FinTech applications.

- Lead the development of new features and backend services using Node.js, Java, C#, or .NET frameworks.

- Deliver modern, responsive, and accessible front-end interfaces using Angular, React, or Ember (Angular preferred).

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, implement event-driven systems, and manage messaging queues like Kafka.

- Develop and optimize database schemas and models using SQL and NoSQL technologies.

- Drive cloud-native application development on AWS or GCP, ensuring adherence to best practices in scalability, performance, and security.

- Mentor and guide engineers, perform technical reviews, and ensure code quality across teams.

- Participate in architectural decision-making and design reviews.

- Ensure engineering best practices including CI/CD, unit testing, performance monitoring, and secure development.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-impact solutions.

Required Qualifications :

- 14+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record in designing and building high-performance applications.

- 6+ years of experience delivering products using Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred).

- 6+ years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular (preferred), React, or Ember.

- 6+ years of experience with Node.js, Java, C#, or .NET frameworks.

- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment patterns in AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Experience in working with event streaming/message queues such as Kafka and caching solutions like Redis.

- Expertise in building secure APIs, implementing microservices, and architecting systems based on event-driven patterns.

- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems and data modeling.

- Deep knowledge of cloud-native architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD practices.

Nice to Have :

- Previous experience building and scaling consumer-facing enterprise SaaS or FinTech platforms.

- Familiarity with tools like GraphQL, gRPC, Serverless frameworks, and monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).

- Experience in security best practices, compliance (e.g., SOC2, GDPR), or high-throughput, low-latency systems.
