Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Staff Data Engineer to join the Customer Success team. The role focuses on Data Virtualization, Data Integration, SQL, ETL, and Data Warehousing, with strong customer-facing responsibilities.

The candidate will provide technical consulting, troubleshooting, training, and solution guidance to customers. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical consulting, training, and support for the Denodo Platform.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues related to Denodo implementations.

- Guide customers on data virtualization, platform architecture, configuration, and integrations.

- Analyze technical requirements and design appropriate solutions.

- Lead or support custom Denodo deployments based on customer requirements.

- Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Support, and Development teams to resolve customer issues.

- Provide technical feedback and recommendations based on customer requirements.

- Develop technical documentation, presentations, white papers, and training materials.

- Promote best practices and knowledge sharing across teams.

- Participate in customer meetings and on-call support activities.

- Travel occasionally based on customer requirements.

Required Experience :

- 712 years of experience in Data Virtualization, SQL, ETL, Data Warehousing, or Data Integration.

- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational, analytical, or cloud databases.

- Good understanding of JDBC, XML, and Web Services APIs.

- Experience with enterprise data integration and architecture.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience working directly with technical and business stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

- Willingness to travel when required.

Preferred Skills :

- Prior experience with Denodo Platform.

- Denodo Certified Administrator / Architect / Developer certification.

- Experience with Git or other version control systems.

- Big Data / NoSQL technologies such as Hadoop and MongoDB.

- Cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, GCP.

- Linux / Windows / UNIX server environments.

- ETL and Data Warehouse architectures.

- Experience integrating with SAP, Siebel, Oracle Financials, and BI tools.

- Knowledge of caching technologies such as JCS.

- Java development experience, particularly web and database technologies.

- Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications.

- Customer-facing consulting and technical documentation experience.
