Solution Architect - AWS

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect - AWS to design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services. The role will focus on translating business requirements into enterprise-grade architectures and providing technical leadership across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on AWS.

- Translate business and non-functional requirements into robust cloud architectures.

- Define application architecture, integration patterns, API strategies, data architecture, and deployment approaches.

- Design and review solutions using AWS VPC, API Gateway, ALB/NLB, EKS/ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, ElastiCache, IAM, KMS, and WAF.

- Drive architecture decisions around scalability, performance, availability, disaster recovery, security, and cost optimization.

- Lead architecture workshops, design reviews, technical discussions, and architecture governance.

- Define cloud monitoring, logging, observability, and operational requirements.

- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, technical trade-offs, and opportunities for improvement.

- Work closely with Engineering, DevOps/SRE, Security, QA, Product, and Operations teams.

- Provide technical leadership during integration, production readiness, and complex production issues.

- Maintain architecture documentation, standards, technical decisions, and operational requirements.

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or architecture.

- 5+ years of experience in AWS / Cloud Solution Architecture.

- Strong experience designing AWS-hosted distributed systems and microservices.

- Strong knowledge of AWS compute, networking, storage, databases, security, and messaging services.

- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, APIs, integration patterns, scalability, and high availability.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience leading technical decisions across multiple engineering teams.

Good to Have :

- AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect - Professional.

- Experience with CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, or AWS X-Ray.

- Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
