Job Summary:

Solenis GSS India is looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist (IC) with strong hands-on coding expertise in Data Science and Generative AI. This role is strictly for Individual Contributors (ICs) who can own end-to-end ML lifecycle, from problem definition to production deployment.

Important: This is NOT a reporting/MIS/analytics role. We are looking for core Data Science practitioners with deep coding expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Data Science & Machine Learning:

- Design, build, and deploy ML models end-to-end

- Work on regression, classification, clustering, time-series forecasting

- Perform EDA, feature engineering, and model validation

- Develop deep learning & NLP models (TensorFlow/PyTorch)

Generative AI & Advanced AI:

- Build LLM-based applications and workflows

- Work with LangChain, HuggingFace, Transformers

- Implement embeddings, vector databases (FAISS)

- Develop AI agents (CrewAI / AutoGen - good to have)

Production & Cloud Systems:

- Deploy models on AWS / GCP / Azure

- Work with data pipelines and enterprise-scale datasets

- Ensure model performance, scalability & monitoring

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Translate business problems into ML solutions

- Communicate outcomes to technical & non-technical stakeholders

- Mentor junior resources when required

Must-Have Skills (Strict Requirements):

- Strong hands-on Python coding (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, SQL)

- Deep expertise in Machine Learning & Deep Learning

- Strong experience in NLP & LLMs

- Hands-on with LangChain / HuggingFace / BERT

- Experience with Vector DBs (FAISS)

- Strong knowledge of end-to-end ML lifecycle

- Experience working as a pure Individual Contributor (IC)

Good to Have Skills:

- Exposure to CrewAI / AutoGen

- Knowledge of LLM Ops / Model deployment pipelines

- Experience with enterprise-scale data platforms

Experience Requirements:

- 10 - 20 years of strong hands-on experience

- Proven track record of end-to-end ML solution delivery

- Prior experience as a dedicated Individual Contributor (IC)

Education:

- Bachelors in Computer Science / Data Science / Engineering / Statistics

- Preferred: Masters in Data Science / Analytics / AI

Note: Data Science Coursework completed in 2017 or earlier is strongly preferred.
