Software Mathematics - Backend Developer - System/API Integrations

About the Role :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable, secure backend services for third-party integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Shopify, Oracle, etc.).

- Translate product and AI team requirements into functional, production-ready code.

- Handle authentication, data transformation, and API communication with precision.

- Ensure code is modular, tested, and easily maintainable for long-term scalability.

Key Requirements :

- 6+ years of backend development experience (solo project experience is a plus).

- Deep understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication protocols (OAuth2, API tokens).

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to reverse-engineer third-party systems.

- Experience working with external APIs, cloud services, and database integrations.

- Comfortable working independently with high ownership and minimal supervision.

- Familiarity with enterprise systems like Salesforce, Shopify, Oracle, etc.

- Experience with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).

- Exposure to AI workflows or data automation tools.
