You will :

- Own the end-to-end technical strategy and implementation of the product

- Define and manage the technical product roadmap, aligning engineering priorities with business goals

- Translate business requirements into clear, scalable architecture and execution plans

- Lead architectural decisions across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and AI/GenAI components

- Define how the product will be implemented, deployed, integrated, and scaled

- Guide the product lifecycle from MVP to enterprise-grade maturity

- Establish and enforce engineering best practices across development, CI/CD, testing, and deployment

- Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure quality and long-term maintainability

- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early and proactively manage them

- Engage with consulting teams and clients to shape implementation strategy and technical direction

- Remain hands-on when needed, contributing to solution design and critical development components

- Mentor and guide the engineering team to build sustainable, high-performance capabilities

Product, Architecture & Implementation Leadership :

- Operating as both Architect and Engineer strategic in vision, hands-on in execution

- Owning and evolving product roadmaps with clear prioritization and dependency management

- Designing scalable, cloud-native, enterprise-grade systems

- Translating ambiguous business problems into structured technical solutions

- Defining practical implementation strategies, balancing MVP speed with long-term maintainability

- Making sound architectural trade-offs with security, reliability, and performance by design

- Integrating GenAI capabilities into production-ready applications

- Leading the engineering team, driving alignment and high-quality delivery across all workstreams

- Owning and evolving multi-product/platform roadmaps aligned to business priorities

- Establishing and tracking engineering KPIs, delivery metrics, and operational rigor

- Managing resource allocation and prioritization across competing initiatives and backlogs

- Driving architecture alignment across systems to ensure consistency and scalability

Client & Stakeholder Partnership :

- Partnering closely with consulting teams and product stakeholders

- Acting as a trusted technical advisor in architecture and implementation decisions

- Communicating complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

Technical Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or NodeJS (Express), and React or modern frontend frameworks

- Cloud platforms (ideally Azure), CI/CD, and DevOps practices

- Docker, Kubernetes, container registries

- SQL databases

- GenAI-assisted coding, eg Cursor and Copilot

- Designing distributed systems and APIs

- Applying structured problem-solving to complex engineering challenges

Team Leadership :

- Leading and mentoring engineering teams

- Establishing engineering standards and best practices

- Building motivated, high-performing teams with strong ownership culture
