Software Engineering Manager - .Net Technologies

Position : Senior Manager/Engineering Manager (.NET)

Experience : 14 - 19 Years

Location : Pune, India

Job Summary :

You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, high-performing software initiatives, leading and mentoring teams, and collaborating with key stakeholders to define and execute product roadmaps. This role is crucial for ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of scalability, resilience, and security within a SAFe Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Engineering Leadership & Delivery :

- Oversee project planning, estimation, and risk management, proactively addressing dependencies and ensuring timely delivery.

- Drive technical talent acquisition, career growth, and retention within your teams.

Technical Strategy & Execution :

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and delivery practices to maintain a competitive advantage.

- Provide technical oversight and strategic guidance to teams across development, QA, and support.

Stakeholder & People Management :

- Collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders to define project roadmaps and

align on key priorities.

- Prepare and present clear technical updates, status reports, and budget inputs to senior management.

- Mentor and manage high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skills :

Core Experience :

- A minimum of 4 years in a software development management role.

Technical Proficiency :

- Proven experience in leading the delivery of large-scale software projects.

Management & Methodologies :

- Extensive experience with project planning, estimation, and risk management.

- Expertise in Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions, with a strong preference for Azure.

- Experience in building real-time, high-volume applications.

- Exposure to the payments industry.
