1. Digital Workplace & DWP Catalog (DWP-C) :
- Design, configure, and customize DWP service catalog items, workflows, and UI forms.
- Create multi-step approvals, conditional logic, and custom notifications.
- Integrate DWP with ITSM, Innovation Studio, and external systems for unified service experience.
- Work on DWP-C (Catalog) for custom workflow automation and advanced user experience design.
2. Smart IT Customization :
- Enhance Smart IT interfaces through custom fields, overlays, and contextual views.
- Integrate Smart IT with Helix GPT, enabling AI-driven agent assistance and predictive recommendations.
- Optimize incident and change management workflows to align with business SLAs.
3. CMDB & ITSM :
- Implement, configure, and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) ensuring alignment with ITIL standards.
- Customize and extend ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, SRM).
- Develop auto-assignment rules, categorizations, and integrations that enhance service delivery.
4. Integrations & Helix GPT :
- Build, test, and maintain REST/SOAP API-based integrations with third-party systems.
- Work with Helix GPT to design AI-powered workflows, including natural language-based incident creation, knowledge search, and contextual automation.
- Develop prompt-driven workflows using Helix GPT connectors and Innovation Studio sub-processes.
5. Multitenancy Support :
- Design and configure multi-tenant solutions for global clients.
- Implement data isolation, tenant-aware workflows, and access control mechanisms.
- Manage cross-tenant deployments, ensuring compliance and scalability.
6. Troubleshooting & Support :
- Analyze workflow failures, process errors, and integration issues.
- Review logs, diagnose platform-level errors, and coordinate with BMC SaaS operations when needed.
- Provide post-deployment validation and performance tuning.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Technical Expertise :
- Strong knowledge of Helix SDK, Java, REST API development, JSON, and SQL.
- Proven experience designing complex process workflows and integration architectures
- Hands-on in Helix GPT configuration and AI workflow design.
Functional Skills :
- Expertise in CMDB, ITSM, and DWP catalog administration.
- Familiarity with Smart IT customization, multitenant architecture, and Helix Platform deployment.
- Solid understanding of ITIL v3/v4 processes.
Soft Skills :
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional global teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
BMC Certifications in :
- Helix Innovation Studio / SDK Development
- Helix ITSM / DWP-C
- Helix GPT Foundations
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Helix applications.
- Familiarity with Helix Platform containerization (OCP/Kubernetes).
