Software Engineer - Node.js/AngularJS

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.

- Demonstrate expertise in building scalable applications and show passion for full-stack development.

- Build the front end of applications with appealing visual designs.

- Develop and write effective APIs.

- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as needed.

- Implement security and data protection settings.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

- Integrate third-party modules and SDKs.

- Apply best practices in architecting, designing, and implementing solutions.

- Advocate for software quality and promote good processes and best practices.

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

- Work effectively as a collaborative team member.

- Maintain a strong passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.

- Take ownership of features end-to-end, including analysis, risk identification and mitigation, design, development, verification, and delivery, adhering to quality guidelines and meeting schedule and quality targets.

Requirements :

- Proven experience in leading a development team and managing deliverables.

- Ability to design and review scalable, maintainable architecture.

- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Development experience (6+ years) in Node and Angular 19 or later.

- Web application development experience with AWS cloud services such as ECR, ECS, VPC, IAM roles, etc.

- Proficient in CSS and frameworks like Tailwind, Bootstrap, and Material.

- Experience in integrating and customizing third-party modules/SDKs and REST APIs.

- Strong ownership of end-to-end delivery.

- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

- Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.

- Micro-frontend knowledge is a plus.

- Exposure to big data technologies, microservices, AI/ML, and analytics is a plus.

Focus areas for evaluation :

- Candidates should be evaluated to determine whether they have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the respective technologies - Angular and Node.

- Knowledge of AWS cloud services such as ECR, ECS, VPC, IAM roles, etc.

- Familiarity with modular architecture, microservices, AI/ML, etc.

- Exposure to version control systems.
