About the Role :

Looking for a skilled Software Engineer with 3.5 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software development. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, experience building scalable applications and APIs, and good exposure to modern development tools and practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

- Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.

- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

- Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.

- Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams throughout the SDLC.

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines and support application deployment.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to technical improvements.

Required Technical Skills :

- Programming & Backend :

1. Strong proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

2. Hands-on experience with one or more backend frameworks such as : Java Spring Boot, Python Django/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript Node.js.

- Frontend :

1. Working knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as React.js or Angular is preferred.

- Database :

1. Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

2. Good understanding of database design, queries, and data management.

- APIs & Integration :

1. Strong understanding of REST APIs.

2. Experience with API development, integration, authentication, and third-party services.

- Version Control & DevOps :

1. Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.

2. Understanding of CI/CD practices and deployment workflows.

3. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

- Development Methodology :

1. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

2. Good understanding of SDLC, code reviews, testing, debugging, and software development best practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3.5 to 5 years of relevant software development experience.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Candidate :

- Candidates currently based in or willing to relocate to Pune.

- Immediate Joiners or candidates with a very short notice period will be preferred.

- Candidates with experience working on production-grade, scalable applications will have an advantage.
