About the Role :

HighLevel is looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong technical and communication skills who has built full-stack web applications, developed robust APIs, and created intuitive interfaces for consuming those APIs. Attention to detail, well-written and self-documented code, and a strong focus on scalability and resilience are essential. The role involves close collaboration with designers, product managers, developers, and testers to build scalable, resilient systems that meet evolving customer needs.

Responsibilities :

- Improve and create new lead capture domain models.

- Build backend and frontend API features and architecture.

- Work cross-functionally across platform, experience, integrations, payments, and marketplace teams.

- Drive performance through benchmarking, profiling, and optimization.

- Work across a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to own and solve problems end-to-end.

- Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, designers, and product managers to build new features and products.

- Uphold high engineering standards and bring consistency across multiple codebases and systems.

- Own and contribute to 1-2 products.

- Build and improve lead capture tools, including funnels, websites, forms, surveys, and social media capabilities.

Requirements :

- Strong full-stack web application development experience.

- Experience designing and building scalable APIs and backend services.

- Ability to build user-friendly interfaces that consume APIs effectively.

- Experience with highly scalable and resilient distributed systems.

- Strong focus on performance benchmarking and optimization.

- Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of problems.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across engineering, product, and design teams.

- Commitment to clean, consistent, maintainable, and self-documented code.
