About the Role :

We are hiring experienced Golang Backend Engineers (SDE II) to join the StoreFront Engineering team. You will work on high-scale, real-time, API-driven backend services used by millions daily. The role requires strong ownership and the ability to build and optimize distributed, mission-critical systems end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable backend services using Golang

- Build high-performance REST APIs and microservices

- Work on distributed systems, caching, queues, and real-time data flows

- Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and reliability

- Collaborate closely with product, design, and DevOps teams

- Drive ownership across the full development lifecycle

Must-Have Skills :

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Golang

- Strong understanding of backend architecture & microservices

- Strong DSA skills (tested in interviews)

- Experience with Redis, Memcache, MySQL, Kafka

- Understanding of distributed systems & high-throughput platforms

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and ownership mindset

- Java background acceptable if transitioned into Go

Bonus : Experience switching from Java to Go (migration, adaptation, or rewrite projects)

Ideal Background :

- Experience in product-based, high-scale, or real-time platforms

- Exposure to event-driven architecture and cloud (AWS/GCP)
