Job Description :

We are seeking a talented Android SDE-2 Developer to join our team and play a key role in building and scaling next-generation mobile applications.

You will be responsible for delivering innovative features and optimizing user experiences through modern Android engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin, Android Jetpack, and MVVM architecture.

- Set up, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, and CircleCI.

- Implement and manage Firebase services including Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging, and Performance Monitoring to enhance app reliability and user engagement.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, UI/UX design, and backend engineering to deliver seamless user experiences.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security to ensure best-in-class mobile experiences.

- Participate actively in code reviews, promote best coding practices, and mentor junior developers to foster team growth.

- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Android development and InsurTech to continuously improve skills and contribute innovative ideas.

Requirements :

- 3 to 8 years of professional Android development experience, with at least 2 years working extensively with Kotlin and modern Android architectures (MVVM, Jetpack).

- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline management to streamline development workflows.

- Proficiency in implementing and leveraging Firebase services and mobile analytics platforms such as Google/Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel.

- Experience working with REST APIs and related libraries such as Retrofit and OkHttp.

- Expertise in modular app development to enable scalable and maintainable codebases.

- Familiarity with Google Play Store release management, including beta distribution and rollout strategies.

- Deep understanding of code quality practices, including unit testing, code reviews, linting, and automated testing.

- Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, fintech, or related domains is a strong plus.
