Software Development Engineer 1 - AI/ML

About the Role:

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer 1 - AI/ML to join the Test Development team and build AI/ML solutions that improve silicon testing, validation, debugging, and engineering productivity.

You will work on Machine Learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, and RAG solutions that integrate with engineering documentation, source code, databases, test infrastructure, and EDA systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain Agentic AI systems, including AI agents, tool integrations, orchestration, and multi-step workflows.

- Develop RAG pipelines involving document parsing, chunking, embeddings, vector search, retrieval, and reranking.

- Implement LLM tool/function calling, structured outputs, prompt engineering, and context management.

- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure retrieval quality, answer accuracy, reliability, and latency.

- Integrate AI solutions with APIs, databases, source repositories, test infrastructure, and engineering tools.

- Analyze large manufacturing, silicon test, validation, and debug datasets.

- Develop ML models for classification, clustering, anomaly detection, and failure analysis.

- Build reusable Python-based analytics and automation tools.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Agentic AI.

- Strong proficiency in Python.

- Experience with NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.

- Good understanding of ML fundamentals.

- Understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, and Agentic AI.
