Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer with 3 - 6 years of experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, frontend frameworks, REST APIs, and MongoDB, with the ability to develop reliable, production-ready software solutions.

Experience in FinTech, banking, financial services, or B2B SaaS will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications.

- Translate business and product requirements into robust technical solutions.

- Build responsive web interfaces, backend services, and RESTful APIs.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including SRS and system design documents.

- Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, code reviews, and coding best practices.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional engineering teams.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Take end-to-end ownership of features from development through deployment and maintenance.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 3 - 6 years of relevant software development experience.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.

- Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Experience with MongoDB and RESTful API development.

- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design patterns, testing, and debugging.

- Experience writing production-ready code and using Git for version control.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end software solutions.

Good to Have:

- Exposure to AWS or Microsoft Azure.

- Familiarity with Docker, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience in banking, payments, lending, or financial services applications.

- Knowledge of application deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
