Software Architect - Backend API

Must-Have Skills :

- Backend Architecture Mastery: Expert-level expertise in designing scalable backend architectures using modern Java (17+) and Spring ecosystem, with deep understanding of microservices patterns, distributed transactions, and event-driven architectures.

- 12+ years in backend engineering, 5+ years in SaaS product architecture

- Expertise in API & microservices (REST, GraphQL, service mesh, high-volume requests)

- Experience architecting configurable SaaS platforms (custom objects, fields, workflows)

- Expertise in dynamic schema management, metadata-driven architectures

- Strong workflow automation, rule engines, reporting systems

- Cloud-native backend (AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, serverless)

- Database architecture for configurable SaaS workloads (SQL/NoSQL)

- Security & compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, financial services).

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Deep experience with CRM/Customer Data Platforms

- Financial CRM integrations (onboarding, compliance, portfolio mgmt.)

- APIs for trading platforms (market data, order management)

- Advanced multi-tenancy, tenant isolation, billing integration

- Workflow engines, event sourcing, CQRS, BPM systems

- High-availability architectures (99.99%, DR planning, self-healing systems
