Position Overview :

As the Software Architect, you will define the architecture for Ethernet-based, RaSTA, and EULYNX communication solutions supporting safety-critical systems.

Your mandate is to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performance architectures that satisfy stringent functional safety and reliability requirements.

Working across engineering, safety, quality, verification, and customer teams, you will guide architectural direction, ensure compliance with recognised safety standards, and establish technical governance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and govern software architecture for safety-critical communication systems.

- Lead compliance with CENELEC and functional safety standards.

- Provide architectural direction for verification, validation, and safety assurance.

- Drive technical reviews and cross-functional design decisions.

- Support safety analysis, risk mitigation, and architecture assurance activities.

- Partner with customer and engineering stakeholders to align technical solutions.

- Mentor engineering teams on architecture, communication protocols, and engineering best practices.

Education & Experience Requirements :

- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

- Experience : 10+ years in embedded software architecture, including expertise in Ethernet, RaSTA, EULYNX, and safety-critical systems.

- Special : Experience with RTOS, multicore embedded platforms, C/C++, CENELEC standards, and railway communication systems is highly desirable.
