Job Description :

We are seeking Senior C# .NET Developers with strong expertise in Windows-based desktop application development to support and enhance on-premise enterprise applications. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience working with WinForms (.exe applications), legacy and modern .NET Framework versions (4.7.2 / 4.8), and strong Oracle PL/SQL skills for backend development.

Important :

This role is strictly for desktop application development. Candidates with only web-based C#.NET experience (ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, Web APIs) will NOT be suitable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Windows desktop applications (.exe) using C# and WinForms.

- Work extensively on existing on-premise applications built on .NET Framework 4.7.2 and 4.8, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability.

- Analyze legacy desktop applications and implement enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations.

- Develop, debug, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL objects including procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex queries.

- Collaborate with database teams to ensure efficient data access, integrity, and performance.

- Perform impact analysis and support application upgrades and framework migrations where required.

- Work closely with business analysts, QA, and support teams to understand requirements and deliver high- quality solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and follow best practices for desktop application development.

- Troubleshoot production issues related to application behavior, performance, and database interactions.

- Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Maintain version control using Git and follow proper branching and release management practices.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

C# .NET (Desktop Focus) :

- Strong hands-on experience in C# .NET desktop application development.

- Extensive experience with Windows Forms (WinForms).

- Solid understanding and experience with .NET Framework 4.7.2 and 4.8.

- Experience developing and maintaining Windows-based on-prem applications.

Database Oracle :

- Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL.

- Ability to write and optimize :

1. Stored Procedures

2. Functions

3. Packages

4. Triggers

5. Complex SQL queries

- Experience handling performance tuning and debugging database-related issues.

Other Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

- Experience with Git or similar version control systems.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
