We are looking for a highly skilled Snowflake Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud-based data solutions using the Snowflake platform.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL optimization, cloud technologies, and modern data engineering practices.

The role involves working closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :


- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT workflows using Snowflake.

- Develop and optimize Snowflake schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and tasks.

- Implement data ingestion solutions using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and cloud storage integrations.

- Optimize query performance, warehouse sizing, clustering, and cost efficiency.

- Develop data transformation models using dbt.

- Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, or Google.

- Ensure data governance, security, RBAC policies, and compliance standards are maintained.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.

- Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and implement automation for operational efficiency.

- Create technical documentation, data dictionaries, and best practices for data management.

Required Skills & Qualifications :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- 3- 8 years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Data Warehousing.


- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.

- Expertise in SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.

- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow, Informatica, or Matillion.

- Proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing and automation.

- Experience with dbt and CI/CD practices.

- Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Familiarity with data modeling, data lakes, and data warehouse concepts.

- Knowledge of version control tools like Git and DevOps practices
