Role Overview :

As a Snowflake Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance data pipelines within a cloud-native environment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data architects, product managers, and business analysts, to translate complex business requirements into scalable data models.

Your day-to-day will involve managing the end-to-end data lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing the performance of our analytical platforms to drive actionable business insights for our global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement scalable data warehouse solutions on Snowflake to support high-volume analytical workloads for internal business units.

- Develop and maintain complex ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ensure seamless data integration across disparate source systems.

- Utilize Data Build Tool (dbt) to transform raw data into clean, structured models, improving the efficiency and reliability of downstream reporting.

- Optimize SQL queries and Snowflake compute resources to reduce latency and manage cloud infrastructure costs effectively.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot data quality issues and implement automated testing frameworks to maintain high standards of data governance.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing Snowflake data warehouses, including performance tuning, clustering, and security management.

- Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions for large-scale data manipulation.

- Proven ability to build and orchestrate data workflows using Azure Data Factory and manage modular data transformations using Data Build Tool (dbt).

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business partners.

- Minimum of 4 to 10 years of professional experience in data engineering or related software development roles.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment based in Mumbai, demonstrating self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
