We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Data Technician with strong technical skills and a solid understanding of U.S. healthcare operations, specifically within Health Plans, Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), Managed Services Organizations (MSOs), and Managed Care environments.


This role is responsible for supporting data integration, reporting, analysis, validation, and operational workflows related to healthcare claims, eligibility, provider, utilization management, quality, and financial data. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Snowflake and healthcare datasets while partnering with operational, clinical, and executive teams to support business and regulatory objectives.


Key Responsibilities :


Data Management & Analysis :


- Analyze, validate, and troubleshoot healthcare data including:


i. Claims


ii. Eligibility


iii. Provider data


iv. Authorizations


v. Encounter data


vi. HEDIS/Quality metrics


vii. RAF/HCC-related datasets


- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for operational and executive leadership.


- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and completeness of healthcare data.


- Support data reconciliation between internal systems, vendors, health plans, and delegated entities.


- Identify data anomalies, trends, gaps, and operational improvement opportunities.


Snowflake & Technical Operations :


- Utilize Snowflake for querying, data extraction, transformation, and reporting.


- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data workflows.


- Support ETL/ELT processes and data integration activities.


- Assist with automation of recurring operational and reporting processes.


- Collaborate with IT and business teams on system enhancements and data governance initiatives.


- Support secure data exchange processes including SFTP, APIs, and file-based integrations.


Healthcare Operations Support :


- Support Managed Care and Health Plan operational workflows including:


i. Eligibility processing


ii. Claims operations


iii. Provider onboarding


iv. Utilization Management


v. Encounter submissions


vi. Delegation reporting


vii. CMS and state regulatory reporting


- Work collaboratively with operational departments, provider groups, vendors, and health plan partners.


- Participate in onboarding and integration activities for new IPAs, health plans, and vendors.


Required Qualifications :


- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.


- 3+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis, healthcare operations, or healthcare IT.


- Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare systems and Managed Care operations.


- Experience working with:


i. Health Plans


ii. IPAs


iii. MSOs


iv. Delegated healthcare models


- Strong Snowflake experience.


- Advanced SQL knowledge and data querying skills.


- Experience with healthcare datasets including claims, eligibility, provider, and quality data.


- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.


- Excellent organizational and communication skills.


- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications :


- Experience with HEDIS, RAF, HCC, STAR measures, or Value-Based Care reporting.


- Experience with healthcare platforms such as QuickCap, EZ-CAP, Facets, QNXT, or similar systems.


- Knowledge of CMS, DHCS, or state/federal healthcare reporting requirements.


- Experience with automation tools, APIs, or data integration platforms.


- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other reporting tools.


- Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data security requirements.
