Role Overview :

As a Snowflake Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing sophisticated data pipelines that power our clients' analytical capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data architects, business analysts, and client stakeholders, to translate complex business requirements into high-performing data solutions. Your work will directly influence the speed and accuracy of decision-making processes, ensuring that data remains a reliable and accessible asset for the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop scalable data ingestion pipelines using Python and Apache Spark to integrate diverse data sources into the Snowflake ecosystem.

- Design and implement efficient data models within Snowflake to support complex analytical queries and reporting requirements for business users.

- Optimize data warehouse performance by conducting deep-dive analysis, tuning queries, and managing resource monitors to ensure cost-effective operations.

- Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes that ensure data integrity, quality, and availability across the enterprise data platform.

- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to leverage AWS services, ensuring seamless integration and security of data workflows.

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the establishment of best practices in data engineering and coding standards within the organization.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing large-scale data warehouses using Snowflake DB, including advanced features like clustering, materialized views, and data sharing.

- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and developing high-performance data transformation logic for large datasets.

- Strong programming skills in Python for automation, data manipulation, and building custom integration scripts.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for processing and transforming massive volumes of data in distributed environments.

- Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and their integration with data engineering workflows to ensure secure and scalable architecture.

- Ability to translate technical challenges into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders through strong verbal and written communication.

- Proven track record of working effectively in remote or distributed team environments, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration.

- Candidates should possess 4 to 10 years of professional experience in data engineering roles, demonstrating a consistent ability to deliver complex technical projects.
