Role Overview :

As a Tech Lead specializing in the MEAN stack, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering robust, scalable web applications that power our core financing platform. You will lead a high-performing engineering team, setting technical standards and ensuring the delivery of high-quality code. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into efficient technical solutions. Your work will directly impact the platform's reliability and performance, ensuring a seamless experience for our merchants and end-users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and design scalable, high-availability web applications using the MEAN stack to support growing transaction volumes.

- Lead and mentor a team of developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements and deliver features that meet business objectives.

- Optimize application performance and database queries to ensure low-latency responses for critical financial operations.

- Implement security best practices across the full stack to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building complex, scalable applications using MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js with 8 - 10 years of professional experience.

- Proven ability to design system architecture that balances performance, maintainability, and scalability in a high-traffic environment.

- Strong proficiency in managing and optimizing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.

- Experience in leading engineering teams, including mentoring junior developers and managing project timelines effectively.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputable institution.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment based out of our Gurgaon office, demonstrating strong ownership and collaborative spirit.
