Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned SIP Operations & Compliance Engineer to serve as a cornerstone of our information governance and security infrastructure. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of our compliance frameworks, ensuring that our data protection strategies align with global regulatory standards. You will work closely with cross-functional IT teams, legal departments, and senior stakeholders to architect robust security policies that safeguard organizational assets. By bridging the gap between technical implementation and business requirements, you will directly influence our security posture, ensuring that our data remains resilient against evolving threats while maintaining seamless operational continuity for our global user base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and manage comprehensive Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies within Microsoft Purview to protect sensitive intellectual property and ensure regulatory compliance.

- Automate complex compliance workflows and administrative tasks using advanced PowerShell scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual oversight.

- Lead eDiscovery and forensic investigations by leveraging advanced platform tools to support legal and internal audit requirements with precision and speed.

- Manage and optimize SharePoint site architectures and permissions to ensure data integrity and secure collaboration across the enterprise.

- Collaborate with the ServiceNow team to streamline incident response processes, ensuring that compliance-related tickets are resolved with minimal business disruption.

- Define and enforce Identity Management protocols to ensure that access controls are strictly aligned with the principle of least privilege.

- Conduct deep-dive troubleshooting of security and compliance configurations to identify root causes and implement long-term technical resolutions.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in configuring and managing Microsoft Purview, with a deep understanding of information protection, data lifecycle management, and eDiscovery workflows.

- Proven ability to script complex automation solutions using PowerShell to manage large-scale enterprise environments effectively.

- Strong background in Information Security principles, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable technical controls.

- Exceptional analytical skills for troubleshooting intricate system issues, combined with the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience managing SharePoint environments and Identity Management systems, ensuring secure and scalable access for diverse user groups.

- Ability to thrive in a high-stakes environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with global teams and external auditors to drive compliance initiatives forward.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 10 - 15 years of progressive experience in security operations and compliance engineering.
