Role Summary :

We are seeking a high-impact Power BI Developer to serve as a pivotal link between complex data architecture and executive decision-making. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions that transform raw data into visually compelling and actionable insights. You will be responsible for the entire BI lifecycle from connecting disparate data sources and building robust DAX-driven data models to implementing secure, scalable dashboards. Collaborating closely with data engineers and business stakeholders, you will shape our data culture by delivering user-friendly analytics that meet evolving business requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of data visualization principles, and the technical agility to optimize ETL processes for maximum data accuracy.

Responsibilities :

- BI Solution Engineering : Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of business intelligence solutions utilizing the full Power BI stack.

- Data Integration & Connectivity : Establish and maintain connections to diverse data sources, including RDBMS, cloud services (Azure/AWS), and flat-file spreadsheets.

- Data Modeling & DAX : Architect sophisticated data models and author complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to support advanced analytical reporting and KPIs.

- Dashboard & Report Development : Create intuitive, high-impact data visualizations and dashboards that provide clear answers to complex business questions.

- ETL & Data Pipeline Management : Build and optimize data transformation workflows using Power Query (M language) to ensure data hygiene and structural integrity.

- Security & Access Control : Implement and govern Row-Level Security (RLS) and workspace access permissions to protect sensitive organizational data.

- Continuous Optimization : Proactively enhance and tune existing Power BI reports to improve load performance and adapt to changing business logic.

- Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with cross-functional teams to elicit data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Troubleshooting & Support : Identify and resolve reporting discrepancies, refresh failures, and performance bottlenecks within the Power BI Service.

- Technical Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of data lineages, calculation logic, and deployment processes for transparency and knowledge sharing.

Technical Requirements :

- Power BI Mastery : 48 years of professional experience with Power BI Desktop, including extensive use of Power Query and DAX.

- Data Visualization Principles : Deep understanding of UI/UX concepts for dashboarding, including color theory, chart selection, and storytelling.

- SQL Proficiency : Strong knowledge of SQL for data profiling, including the use of joins, unions, subqueries, and window functions.

- Analytical Thinking : Proven ability to deconstruct complex business problems into measurable data components and KPIs.

- ETL Expertise : Hands-on experience with data cleaning, normalization, and transformation within the Power BI ecosystem.
