Silicon Principal Architect - SoC Solutions

Job Description :

Position : Silicon Principal Architect

The ideal candidate will bridge software requirements with hardware implementation, translating system objectives into high-performance, power-efficient micro-architectures while optimizing Power, Performance, Area, and Cost (PPAC). You will drive the complete silicon lifecycle from architecture definition through successful tape-out and post-silicon validation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and lead the architecture of complex System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions, including compute cores, memory subsystems, and high-speed interconnects.

- Translate product, software, and business requirements into detailed hardware architecture specifications.

- Develop system-level performance and power models to evaluate architectural trade-offs.

- Collaborate with RTL, verification, software, and physical design teams throughout the development lifecycle.

- Evaluate and integrate third-party IP, advanced packaging technologies (2.5D/3D), and emerging interface standards.

- Support post-silicon validation, debugging, performance tuning, and production readiness.

- Drive architectural innovation while ensuring scalability and manufacturability.

Required Skills :

- End-to-end VLSI lifecycle expertise.

- Strong SoC architecture and micro-architecture experience.

- Deep understanding of PPAC optimization.

- Memory architecture (DDR/HBM).

- Network-on-Chip (NoC).

- High-speed protocols such as PCIe and CXL.

- RTL and digital design knowledge.

- Architectural modeling and simulation.

Technical Skills :

- SystemVerilog

- C/C++

- Python

- Architectural simulation and modeling tools

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.

- 15+ years of experience in semiconductor architecture and digital design.

- Proven track record of leading successful production silicon tape-outs.

- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
