About the Opportunity :

We are hiring a Service Line Head - Data & Analytics for the India GCC of a global manufacturing organization.

This role will lead and scale the Data & Analytics practice, driving technology strategy, capability building, governance and delivery excellence in alignment with global business priorities.

Location : Mumbai

Experience : 18 - 20 years

Reporting to : India GCC Leader

Qualification :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Data Science

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the Data & Analytics strategy and capability roadmap for the India GCC.

- Build and strengthen capabilities across Data Engineering, Cloud Data Platforms, BI & Analytics, Data Governance and Data Quality.

- Lead a team of approximately 200 - 250 employees, with planned growth to 300 - 400 over the next year.

- Manage architects, practice leads and delivery managers across multiple D&A streams.

- Lead distributed global teams and collaborate with global technology and business stakeholders.

- Drive adoption of modern data platforms, automation, AI-enabled solutions and GenAI.

- Develop reusable assets, frameworks, best practices and scalable delivery models.

- Establish strong governance and quality standards to improve delivery consistency and business impact.

- Partner with CIOs, CTOs, global D&A leaders and internal technology service lines.

- Build leadership capability and support talent development across the practice.

Candidate Requirements :

- 18 - 20 years of overall experience with strong leadership exposure in Data & Analytics.

- Proven ownership of a D&A practice, service line or Centre of Excellence.

- Experience managing teams of approximately 100 - 150 employees or more.

- Demonstrated experience leading teams across countries or regions.

- Strong technology depth across Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Governance and Cloud Data Platforms.

- Relevant exposure to Snowflake, MLOps, GenAI and modern data ecosystems.

- Track record of building capabilities, scaling teams and defining technology roadmaps.

- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience engaging senior global leaders.

- Willingness to travel internationally approximately once per quarter.

Preferred Background :

- D&A Practice Leaders, COE Heads or Service Line Leaders from mid-sized GCCs, manufacturing GCCs or specialized Data & Analytics organizations.

- Senior leaders with broad practice ownership who are ready to lead a larger global mandate.

- The role requires technology and practice leadership beyond delivery management. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to operations, P&L management or individual contributor architecture may not align with the mandate.
