About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, Python, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate should be able to work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets, build predictive models, generate actionable insights, and collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.

- Build, validate, and deploy machine learning and statistical models for prediction, classification, clustering, and forecasting.

- Develop time-series forecasting models and evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.

- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and model tuning.

- Design and implement data pipelines and reusable analytical frameworks.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and data engineers to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.

- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Monitor model performance in production and continuously improve accuracy and reliability.

- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6 to 10 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.

- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

- Hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, or similar ML libraries.

- Solid understanding of :

5. Model Evaluation Techniques

6. Time Series Forecasting

- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, or Hadoop is an added advantage.

- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience in domains such as Retail, E-commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, Healthcare, or Manufacturing is preferred.

- Exposure to MLOps, model deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Understanding of Generative AI, NLP, or LLM-based analytical solutions will be an added advantage.
