Role Summary :

We are looking for a Lead Engineer who can provide strong technical leadership across client projects in a staff augmentation model. This role requires a balance of hands-on development, team mentorship, and client interaction.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in scalable systems along with exposure to AI/ML-driven solutions, enabling intelligent, data-driven applications across IoT and enterprise use cases.

Experience :

- 6+ years of overall software development experience

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead technical design and implementation for client projects

- Drive architecture decisions, including systems involving AI/ML integrations and data-driven workflows

- Perform hands-on development and solve complex technical problems

- Review code and ensure adherence to best practices and engineering standards

- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers across client engagements

- Act as the primary technical interface between clients and delivery teams

- Support project planning, estimations, and technical decision-making

- Collaborate with data/AI teams to integrate machine learning models and intelligent services into applications

Required Skills

- Strong backend expertise in Java / Node.js / Python

- Solid understanding of system design and scalable architectures

- Experience building and consuming REST APIs, microservices, and database systems

- Working knowledge or exposure to AI/ML concepts such as model integration, data pipelines, or inference services

- Familiarity with Python-based ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar) is a plus

- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows

- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working on AI/ML-powered applications, predictive systems, or IoT analytics platforms

- Understanding of data engineering concepts and handling large-scale datasets

- Exposure to MLOps practices is an added advantage

Education :

- Bachelors Degree (B.E / B.Tech) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
