Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Full Stack Developer / Lead to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining complex WordPress applications, plugins, and themes. In addition, the candidate should bring strong full-stack expertise (PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, REST APIs, React/Angular, etc.) and demonstrate leadership skills to mentor a development team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites and applications.

- Develop custom themes, plugins, and reusable components for scalable solutions.

- Ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end technologies.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.

- Implement REST APIs and integrate with third-party systems/tools.

- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.

- Stay updated with the latest WordPress, PHP, and web development trends.

- Provide technical leadership and support during project planning and execution.

Must-Have Skills :

- 6-8 years of professional experience in WordPress development (themes, plugins, multisite, WooCommerce).

- Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

- Proficiency in modern JS frameworks/libraries (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular).

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Graph QL, and headless WordPress implementations.

- Solid understanding of MVC frameworks and OOP concepts.

- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

- Experience with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of WooCommerce and other WordPress eCommerce integrations.

- Experience with SEO best practices and website performance optimization.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Prior experience in leading a development team or managing client communications.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
